Well, the Maya civilization was a Mesoamerican civilization developed by the Maya peoples, and noted for its logosyllabic script—the most sophisticated and highly developed writing system in pre-Columbian Americas—as well as for its art, architecture, mathematics, calendar, and astronomical system.

My name’s Sandy Cordero and I’m from Yucatán, Mexico — that’s the reason for the name.

I founded MayanMedia because I’m obsessed with filmmaking. I love movies and I always try to apply my knowledge of cinema into my work; whether it’s a music video, a business commercial, a fishing trip, or even a charity event.

Sometimes we’re so invested in the moment that we forget to capture it, and regret not doing so. I know I do all the time. Unless it’s your event, I won’t forget I promise.
